John Hirchak:

I am John Hirchak, a freelance web designer based out of Toronto Ontario, Canada. My company website is DarkLab Productions.

Growing up I always had a passion for graphic design, web design and video production. Ever since I was taught HTML at the age of 12, I have always felt the need to creatively express myself in various forms of multimedia. As time passed, it became pretty obvious that I was headed for a career that was design based. My mind was so wrapped up in Photoshop and HTML that web design was only logical career choice I had.

A long time has passed since I was first taught HTML. The whole landscape of the Internet has changed. I have witnessed the birth and rebirth of the internet (WWW) and I continue to grow along with it. No matter how many years I have been in this industry, I consider myself to be a student of the field. Technology is forever evolving and remaining still is never an option.
